synbrAIn Acquires SenticLab

After four years of continuous collaboration, synbrAIn has acquired one of its key business partners: SenticLab.

Founded in April 2017 in Iași, Northeastern Romania, SenticLab quickly established itself as a research-focused company, strengthened by its strong ties to the academic and university environment.

Through an ongoing collaboration agreement with Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, SenticLab (and indirectly synbrAIn) have benefited from the operational support of professors, researchers, and PhD students specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence. This partnership has fostered new innovation opportunities directly within the company.

SenticLab’s Key Contributions

Since 2020, SenticLab’s data scientists have worked closely with synbrAIn’s team, focusing on AI-driven automatic medical image analysis. SenticLab has Developing the algorithms behind CHEST XR PNEUMO, a key feature of MS humanAId. Designing innovative solutions for complex AI challenges, as demonstrated by outstanding results in international competitions.

Beyond industry applications, SenticLab’s researchers have been actively engaged in scientific research, contributing to numerous publications in fields such as deep learning, medical image analysis, and natural language processing.

Their strong academic collaborations have also led to participation in national and international research projects, including the Digi-B-Cube initiative within the Horizon 2020 framework, funded by the European Union.

Despite the acquisition, SenticLab will continue to operate autonomously, with an even stronger commitment to innovation. Now backed by synbrAIn’s resources, SenticLab will have greater support for ongoing development projects and future research initiatives.
